Abstract Submission

Deadline for submission of abstracts: June 19, 2018 extended!

Please prepare your abstract as a Microsoft Word (DOCX) document. Name the file using the “FamilyName-FirstName.docx” template and upload the file on the registration page.

When uploading you may select the presentation type (Poster only vs Poster or Oral (if selected)) and provide up to 3 suggested topics from the list of scientific topics.

You may use the following template:

Please note that abstracts will be reproduced in the book of abstracts in an unchanged form.


  • The Abstract must be written in English.
  • The maximum length is one A4 page.
  • Use Times New Roman fonts with a 16pt title and 12pt font size throughout the rest of the text.
  • Leave one blank line after the title, authors, and affiliations.
  • The title should be brief and specific.
  • Separate author names by commas and indicate affiliations by superscript numbers.
  • The name of the presenting author should be marked by boldface.
  • Affiliations should include institution, department, city and country.
  • Structure the body of the abstract per paragraph as follows: Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusion.
  • Please avoid formatted tables and graphs.
